It's been another chaotic week with work, bills, and other things. I've not drawn nearly as much as I would like, all of the following done within the past week. I have been playing a little Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, currently Hunter Rank 4 with the Guild. Several computers have entered my care as well, and Miyu is still without a mother board. Maybe someday I'll be able to get back to work on actual drawing projects, one of which is severely demanding my attention (sorry Tim, I really want to get back to it >.< )
So I've gone back to basics again, and bought a new reference book. "Human Anatomy made Amazingly Easy" by Christopher Hart, via Kindle. A solid book for an artist. I goes to into great detail on the structures that give shape to the body. The sketches above are copied from the pages of the book. Make note that its "Copied", not "Traced". Though it is out of a book it still makes me feel better than I can draw like this at all.
Some clothing design for the hell of it. I wanted to try working in something made of a firmer material. Its still in it's design phase so nothing has been done with this outfit....yet.
And last but not least, a character concept I am working on for a new story idea. Nothing solid yet on the story but I do want to get some opinions on the style so far. Its an attempt at something that's close to Magical Girl type uniforms but still a little different. The skirt is inspired by Lulu's costume from Final Fantasy X and the top is inspired from a Shojo Ai fashion drawing book I picked up sometime back.
For warhammer (in case anyone happens to be interested) bought a box of Chaos Raptors because jump pack infantry are a must.
That is all
